Overall, our experience was great, and exceeded our expectations. We were in and out quickly, and we were quite impressed with how professionally the problem was handled. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The facility was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The only thing that disturbed me a bit was that the intake application asked for a social security number, and that is not really information that a veterinarian should request. I left that portion blank, and no one challenged me about it, so that was OK. However, I still think that the intake papers need to be modified to exclude that request, as it is an identity theft risk. Thank so much for a great experience. It is good to know that you are there for us if we need you. [AEC Note: the social security number field on our intake application is only used if/when certain medications (controlled substances) are prescribed and require that we positively identify the recipient in this manner.
