05/04/23 - AEC Rochester

Our Harley was supposed to have received his wings in the comfort of his home by Lap of Love. However, they canceled our appointment and wanted to reschedule for 3 days later! I called AEC and was greeted by the kindest and most compassionate lady. I wish i remembered her name but I was so upset. I just remember her saying OMG I’m so sorry - we can help you. They took us right away into a room and also allowed us to bring our other dog Fiona who Harley grew up with. It was important to have her there so she knew he was not going to come home. Everyone was so kind, patient and caring toward our sweet boy and my family. For a dreadful day that turned even more horrible when Lap of Love canceled turned into something peaceful because of those we encountered yesterday. Thank you all for everything you did from a warm smile, soothing voice, pretty fuzzy blankets for Harley and allowing us the time we needed to say good bye to our family member.
