They saved our dogs life. We rushed to our vet when our dog, Bear, became unable to stand. Our vet did everything they could to try and discover what was wrong but finally ended up telling us we needed to take him to an animal hospital. Our choices were either Michigan State or a place in Novi called Animal Emergency Center. We chose the AEC and immediately rushed our dog there.

The doctors and staff were wonderful, we were there for hours and they were finally able to stabilize Bear and made him comfortable. They discovered our 10 year old dog was now a diabetic, and if we hadn't taken him in he would have died.

Bear stayed at AEC for an entire week. My wife visited him each day and the staff always welcomed her and made her feel comfortable. It was painful not having our dog at home, but the folks at AEC did everything they could to accommodate and comfort us.

The week passed slowly, but they were able to stabilize his insulin levels and prepared him for coming back home. Our dog is again doing fine. He gets insulin twice a day. He also runs and barks with his brother and is our loving pet. No one wants to go to a hospital much less put your pet in one, but thank God AEC was there and able to save our dog. No we don't want to take our pet to a hospital, but if we have to we would go back to AEC in a heartbeat. We are very grateful to the folks at Animal Emergency Center.
