Canine circovirus infections have recently been found in some dogs exhibiting symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea. According to the AVMA, the distribution of the virus in the U.S. is not yet known, but infected dogs were reported in California and circovirus may be related to the recent illness and loss of dogs in Ohio.
