Mister
Mister was very sick when we adopted him from the Humane Society at a few months old. He was sneezing blood and we had to keep him in the bathroom with the shower running periodically to help steam his congestion out. Despite this, he was such a perky, friendly kitten.
Mister just wanted to be loved. He wasn't like most cats that I've lived with in the past. He wasn't picky about affection. He wasn't moody or choosy. He always wanted to rub on you, snuggle, or be petted. He made cat lovers out of people who didn't think they liked cats.
I feel sad that I didn't notice how sick Mister was and I will always regret not getting him to the vet sooner. He had a good 17 years but I suspect he could have had more time. Mister, I love you so much. You were the best boy. I hope you could hear me in your final moments and that you felt loved and at peace. Thank you for being a part of our family and I will miss you always.
