Sad Loss
I only had Lucky for about 17 hrs. We got a call from a pet store stating he was dropped off deaf and blind. When I got there we were told a different story that they purchased him like that.... Unfortunately, Lucky was a victim of humans cruelty or over breeding. We will not know his story for sure. What I do know is that running a rescue brings in all kinds of situations. Lucky was not lucky to be able to fight the cruelty that was done to him. He was lucky to have me come and get him. I provided love, comfort and warmth in his last hours of life. It pains me knowing he was so innocent and didn't have to go thru this. It hurts and I hope he understands my decision to lay him to rest. I will continue to fight for these little guys in his honor and all the others that come in!
