Congratulations to AEC technician Carri Underwood for recently completing her ultrasound certification!
Carri earned her Advanced Imaging Certificate of Completion from the Academy of Veterinary Imaging by Sound in Arlington, Texas (one of the most rigorous programs in the nation).
Over the past year Carri attended over 140 hours of on-site classroom instruction and hands on lab time learning advanced ultrasound techniques for abdominal and cardiac imaging. The course of study also required over 100 practice case studies that Carri performed here at AEC.
Carri is now available by appointment if you have a need for an ultrasound study to be performed for one of your patients. We will transmit detailed results and a written report to you, or optionally, we can have an internist further evaluate the study for you.
