Lily presented with normal blood work and she was obviously sick. X-rays normal, ultrasound normal. They gave her fluids and sent us home to see how she would do. The next day she was worse and I thought I was going to have to put her down. She could barely walk and was miserable. They suggested I leave her overnight and they could give IVs and antibiotics. It was hard for them because she was normal with all of the tests. Later that night that I left her, the doctor called and said they found a hot spot (infection) on her tail. She has very thick fur and it was amazing they found it. They had to check every inch of her body to find that. The next day she was eating and feeling much better. I have her home now and she it still on antibiotics and her tail is healing nicely. I fear that I I would have taken her to my regular vet, I would not have her with me today. They went above and beyond and did not give up on her. I will be truly grateful for every extra day I have with her because of their compassion and diligence and willingness to think outside of the box. - Lily's Owner [Avg. Score: 5.0 ]
